Do Hard IV

Kojo: I miss her voice; that silky, smooth, authentic, soft voice of hers, and the way she speaks when she's tired. She mentions my name in a certain tone that I love so much. But sometimes, she goes all formal on me and calls me with my surname. For real, I miss her, but my ego is as thick like that of a cathedral pillar. My mind and body is willing but my ego is too strong. It shuts me down anytime I make up my mind to call her, just to hear her voice. It springs up out of nowhere and mellows me with a whole different set of thoughts, just to disengage me from wallowing in my depression. I wonder how long I can keep up with this. I might break down if I do, yet my ego wants me to take the risk, with this lame reason I hate with passion. "If it's meant to be, she will reach out to me". But my question is, her ego is also using that same card on her?. Then it means we are both going to wait till eternity, or not. #BrainShutsDown

Do Hard III

Kojo: Boss, how far?, you are doing fine abi?. Abeg take this message show your sister gimme. Thank you.
" Maya, it's interesting how people behave sometimes. I thought it only happens in movies, whereby a guy goes to prison, having to endure a lot of pain, guilt, misery, ruthlessness, hunger and many more for a woman he loves, due to something they both did together. Only to end up in prison, and the woman neither visits him nor sends a message. He does his time and gets out of prison, the woman he loves hears about it and still does not call or visit him. All she does is grief inwardly without the guy knowing. He waits for her to reach out, or look for his whereabout but she does not. She posts indirect messages that the guy cannot tell what it means or whom its meant for, and he's thinking they've passed that stage of indirectness. Yet she expects him to visit or reach out to her after coming out of prison. And he is also filled with pain that the woman that he knew to love him could do this to him. He makes up his mind not to reach out or visit her until she does, cause he doesn't see why he should do the time in prison for the both of them without hearing from her, and she expects him to reach out to her first after coming out of prison. How inhuman can she be?, he thinks. What was wrong with giving me a call even if she couldn't come visit, just to check up on me?, he continues to grief. After going through such a series of heartbreaking thoughts, he finally decides to mind his own business as she also did when he ended up in jail and even on his release. He sees no reason while he should stress himself over someone who showed no concern during his time of crisis".

Do hard II

Jeff: Ruby, there is something bothering me for a while now. Can I share it with you?. Its no big deal, don't give me that serious face already. Its about Aisha actually, I want to know if its just me escalating the issue or you would too if you were in my shoes. We went to watch a movie last week Monday and since then I haven't heard from her. Why are you laughing already?. I'm serious, kindly put on a serious face. The reason I'm asking is that, I accompanied her after the movies to her house since it was late, but the unfortunate thing happened. Two guys approached us right in front of her house, one was holding a knife. Luckily, I was able to hold them back for her to escape leaving me behind with these two dunkards. They wanted my phone only, they said. Fortunately for me, I managed to outwit them by speeding off non-stop for almost 30minutes until I lost them. I got home with bruises all over and all I wanted was a call from Aisha to ask if I'm fine and what happened but I got nothing. It took me 3days to fully recover and come online, and there she was. She realized I was back online yet she didn't whasapp me or send a text message. Its been 2weeks now and still nothing. Sincerely, I don't understand this. Ruby: Don't stress yourself too much, she would finally come around. Just give her the space she deserves and continue to live your life.

Floyd: Charley Kofi, have you heard about Johnson and Mildred's issue?. I bet you have heard but you didn't know it was them, cause it was the talk of the group page the whole of yesterday. Not the class group page, the other one Jude created which comprises of Johnson, Mildred, James, Yaa, Osteen, Hilda, Karen, Jill, you and I. They were saying that Johnson was

Dear Future Husband II

Wilson: I don't usually talk about my woman but sometimes we have to, and this is one of those times. I love my woman and I'm aware of her weakness, that is why I'm always around to keep her together. But I won't always be around to keep her in check; work or education might keep us apart for a while in the future and that shouldn't be a problem. Just to have an idea how she would behave when we end up in a long distance relationship, cause we're usually around each other. Due to that, I decide to absent myself from her life for a couple of days just to see how she would react and how long we both can take it. I've realized she has this ego she needs to overcome, and I'm ready to help her out. Whenever we quarrel or there is a little gap between us, all she does is sit and wait for me to call or text her first. And I always come through for her by doing that, but there will be a time I wouldn't. I bet when that time comes, we would both wait for eternal. I love her to the bone, she's sweet, wow and lovely, all rubbed up in one. We love to have fun, she looks sweet in anything and she loves to try something new everytime, and I love that about her. I know how to get her along even when she doesn't feel like it. She's troublesome, yet she acts as if I'm the troublesome one. Shes's not so picky and she claims she has eyes for classy things, but who doesn't?. Laugh out loud!. We don't usually see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, and that can get scary sometimes. She may love something, I don't see the need to, and vice versa. I think we were made for each other, and there's a lot of things we have to discuss over a date. Laugh out loud!.

Dear Future Husband

Jane: If this isn't love then I wouldn't know what to call it. Cause his silence is even enough when I'm with him. I don't need any third party: my phone, to keep me company. I forget I do have a phone sometimes, until someone calls me, cause there's never a dull moment with Freddy. We could just be sitting staring at each other's face and that doesn't make me bored at all. He always knows what to say at the right time, he knows how to piss me off, turn me on, shut me up, make me behave, keep me silent, keep me talking, turn my groove on, lit me up, make me smile, make me laugh, make me cry, keep me going. He's just the one for me; I'm so #teamFreddy for life. What more can I possibly ask for?. I know I do stress him a lot by asking for stuffs I know he cannot afford, but sometimes you've got to push a man to reach his full potential, in order to get him to that higher heights you expect of him. And I know exactly how to do that with Freddy and he's cute too on top. Disturbing him is just so fun, cause he is so troublesome indoors, and all calm and quiet when we're outside. He knows that I would get him too when he's disturbing me, so he does it so well, so that when his time comes to be disturbed, he knows he deserves it. He's a little indecisive when it gets to making certain simple decisions like what to do first and what to do later, and I also have trouble choosing what to wear and what to eat and where to go. So we mostly help each other since we know each others weakness, and we've learnt to cope with it too. He can be hilarious at times and serious too. The good part is that, is not that difficult telling whether he's kidding or serious. I know him inside out, yet he still surprises me per his decisions and actions sometimes. I've made up my mind to stick with him and groom him into my future husband. And we're surely on the right path.

Please don't fall into trouble

Alex: Sincerely, my prayer is that you never fall into any trouble this year. It's very hard to recover after falling into trouble these days. Cause everyone is busy looking out for themselves, caring little about others. It's not like we don't care, we do a lot, but it's difficult putting others first when we might get affected alongside. Its quite a painful thing to experience, it changes your thinking, mindset and perspective about humans. Many people after getting out of trouble, do so with trust issues and its very difficult recovering from that. An example: Kwesi tells Akua, his parents would be away this weekend so they could step out without worries. Akua gives him the idea of getting Kwame, Ama, Yaa and Kojo to join them in his house instead. And that they could just order pizza and drinks and have a movie night, play truth or dare, pick and act, dare-devil and many other interesting games. He does and it ends up becoming such a memorable event, they got to bond really well and had some lonely times with themselves as well. Kwesi directed every pair into their room after playing the dare-devil game. There was a lot of noise during that game actually, which would have drawn their neighbors attention, cause they were made to do crazy things they never thought of doing. Yaw nearly broke up with Ama during the game, cause she gave Kwesi a hand-job while wearing his boxers, yet it was just mind-blowing. Yaw was also made to dance with Yaa, to Wendy Shay's song, and the kind of moves that evolved during this dance is not something healthy to disclose. Kwame and Ama were made to kiss, which was lovely to watch, then every pair started making-out as well in the dark. Finally, everyone was in their seperate rooms until morning. They all had a nice chat in the morning, had breakfast and departed to their various houses. Kwesi decided to go escort Akua, then Kwesi's father called that they were infront of the house. Kwesi had to run home, on his way he called each of his friends to check if they left anything behind. They were a bit skeptical if they did, but Kwame said he might have left his condom and sperms all over the bed-spread, Yaa said her night wear too and the worst of all was that; none of them rearranged the place before leaving. Kwesi's mind was all over the place, knowing not what to say if asked what happened. He began praying, cause he remembered his Sunday School teacher use to say, "Prayer is the key". A whole week passed and none of his friends called to ask what happened to him, whether he found a way out or he was punished. None of them also helped him out with what to say either. All of them just stayed quiet, waiting for him to call so they would ask what happened. So tell me, after this experience, do you think Kwesi would risk doing anything for his friends again?. This wasn't even that serious of a trouble and they all left him hanging.

The Feeling that comes with a New Year

Yaw: I guess most of us have lost the fresh vitalizing feeling that comes along with a new year and a new beginning and a fresh start. Have you ever been caught up between two troubles; one at work and the other at home?, and its like no where is safe anymore. There you would understand better, the agony the Isrealites went through, discovering the red sea infront of them and the Egyptians right behind them. It's a new year once again and most of us are hoping for God's intervention in our lives. While others just don't really care anymore, cause they've lost their hope that things would get better. Their faith of "better days ahead" have been shredded to pieces, year after year. They voted for change and yet things never changed. They thank God for what they have and how far they've come, yet they bare a grudge with Him within them. God, sincerely we thank you for every little thing you did for us in 2018, we're overwhelmed by the greater things as well. We are expectant this year once again. Some of us have no new plans for a couple of years now, cause our old plans 2years ago and more hasn't been fulfilled. Yet we know we will have testimonies day in and day out this year. We thank you, Oh Lord that you still keep us and we have lives to boost of. Into your hands we commit this year once again, our hope, aspirations, joy, happiness, peace of mind, comfort, love, protection, guidance is in You. You are our direct pipeline and source, we thank You once again. And we know that You never disappoint and You won't ever too. Our dreams and aspirations this year are in Your hands once again, do Your thing.

Conditions XII

Jorgie: I wonder why this usually happens to me. I'm still trying to get my head round it. Its quite strange but everytime my girlfriend's name pops up in my head, or I miss her, or start thinking about her and I dial her number, there's always a 70% chance of her line being busy. I've tried and tested, and usually it's true. I actually thought it was coincidence at first, until I realized it wasn't anymore. I don't really mind whom she's talking to, it doesn't bother me at all. What does is the fact that, me missing her always crashes with her line being busy. I mean, I don't really get it. What does that mean?, or it doesn't mean anything?. I think there's something to it that I'm not getting. Help me out here for a minute, stop reading and think. So how would you deduce this if it were you?. What would you think is the reason or cause of this usual coincidence?. Would you do something about it or would you tell her or you would just discard it as unimportant as I always do?. I'm serious though, I need an answer.

Conditions XI

Houston: I know she doesn't kiss and tell. Yet I wonder why she still hides stuff from me. I mean, to her it may be unnecessary sharing, but it may mean the world to me. It doesn't bother me that she keeps things from me, it actually hurts me that she sees nothing wrong with it. What makes her act that way?, I keep on asking myself that, cause I've done everything possible to make her feel free to share anything or do things in the open even when I'm around, but it seems she still has the thought of me, "acting up", in case I see it or she tells me. I guess you don't get my point; lemme give you a scenario. "In case your man is chatting on the phone and unconsciously has this faint smile on his face, and the moment you sit next to him to tell him something, he either opens up another application or turns off his phone's screen, wouldn't it feel strange?". Exactly my point, so now you get me right?. And at that instance, it wouldn't bother you that he may be chatting with another girl, but the first question you would ask is, why what are you hiding?. And the second question would be, so what's wrong if I see it?. And now your problem would be, why he doesn't feel comfortable chatting with another girl in your presence but he feels so free doing that in your absence?. Cause for me, I wouldn't want my guy not feeling comfortable replying his messages or talking on the phone with another girl, in my presence. Cause if he can do that in my absence, he should be able to do that in my presence, or else, he's a playboy. I wouldn't advice that he hides his phone or walk away from me when he gets a call unless it's work related. I would love him to tell me after every call whom he spoke with and whom that person is. I just would love to know, isn't a must.

Conditions X

Reuben: I decided to stop writing, since my inspiration to write was shredded to pieces. But a work mate told me today how she could relate with every script I wrote, and how talented she thinks I am. What inspired me most about the stuffs she said, was how she said it, and the fact that we weren't even friends. So to all those who realized my absence and called all my numbers to check up on me, I'm grateful. To all those who thought about me for a moment, and carried on with their lives, I'm grateful. To all those who waited for me to come online before asking of my whereabout, I'm grateful. To all those who realized my absence yet couldn't do anything about it, I'm grateful. To all those who called my number and couldn't reach me, I'm grateful. To all those who meant to call but couldn't, I'm grateful. To all those who didn't even realize my absence, I'm grateful. Sometimes, its those you least expect that comes through for you when you need someone to hold unto. Other times you're left all by yourself, even by those that say they love you, and you begin to doubt their love. These few days made me realize that I have no friend at all. I mean, I have people I chat with and all, but someone to call a friend, I don't have. The truth hurts, but some things; if you know, you know. I don't blame anyone actually, neither would I point fingers, cause I knew for sometime now that I didn't really have a friend. Apart from work, school and church mates; I'm basically alone. So when loneliness striked me after my phone got missing: I knew I had to endure that pain, cause no one would come looking for me, unless I reach out to them, and let them know the situation I was in. All I received was bashing from family. There and then; pain, hurt, sorrow and grief rubbed me up and handed me over to moodiness. It's a sad distin, when you are all alone. It makes you develop bitterness, carelessness and dislike for people. Yet its a cycle everyone goes through in life to build them up and mold them for a better future. Don't give up on yourself cause you think you have no one. You do have someone, you just haven't realized that someone.

Conditions VIII

Nueki: I realized how old vibes rekindle when you meet old folks. I mean, it was fun coming back to Ghana after all these years of staying Abroad, due to education and work. I'm now have such a lovely gorgeous boyfriend, Austin, who owns his own apartment and car in New York. He's such an adorable person. We were still in touch when I stepped foot in Ghana. He's also a Ghanaian by the way, he just has a different set of eyes; charming as most people will call it. I kept him updated on everything I did, except the part that I met up with my ex, Alvin. Cause I knew he would freak out over nothing. It wasn't a planned one actually, we just happen to meet at a friend's birthday bash on one freaky friday. I saw him pass by but wasn't so sure it was him so I called out his name, just in case he was the one. Okay, that's a lie, truth is, he heard I was on a holiday trip to Ghana so he hit me up on twitter to meet up when I do, and I was like, "why not?". So on my way to my friend's birthday bash I gave him the direction and time and he happen to show up right on time. As soon as we met, we exceeded the usual hugging seconds. I mean, from personal experience, is always advisable to avoid all ex's or people you've had a fling with, as soon as you enter into a serious relationship. Cause there's always this confidence they have around you, that makes them want to relate with you as they use to way back. Especially when they meet you at a party, drinkup, get-together. Those kind of places gives them the edge to rekindle past feelings, you two shared. They could touch you in a certain way they use to do that made you lose consciousness, that you miss so much. In my case, I remembered nothing about Alvin, except his smiles. I have no idea why we broke up either. To be Continued.

Conditions VII

Jill: I heard about Kwesi and Ama's breakup and it really got to me, cause they were perfect together. Now I know for sure that people praising you for looking good together, doesn't guarantee the success of your relationship. Looking good together says nothing actually; friends, twins and siblings look good together these days. The reason I'm saying this is that, sometimes friends listen to people's comments of them looking good together, to decide to date, and it ends up destroying their friendship. So it's a little silly if we clinch unto looking good together to make certain decisions. Knowing each other for so long doesn't also guarantee a successful marriage. Cause I had a friend who dated for 10years and after 3months of getting married to the person, divorced him. Another also met his woman when he traveled to America for holidays. They began chatting and after 6months of knowing each other decided to get married and have been happily married since. So for me, I believe in finding your right pair/ soul mate, rather than confusing yourself someone is the right pair for you because they know you so well or you two look good together. These two reasons doesn't guarantee a successful marriage. God is the match maker and He uses people to link people up, so simple, don't complicate things. To be sure, he/she is the one, pray to the match maker (God) for a sign to prove they are the right pair for you, and you would know for sure. But the decision is always yours to make.

Conditions VI

Henry: Of all my experiences at work this is weirdest of them all. For a moment I thought it was a set-up, but after a while I realized it was no joke. Truth be told, I haven't had this experience of a lady interested in me for a longer period of time and still persisting to be with me. Mostly, after a day of giving them negative vibe, they are on the move. But this particular lady at work, took my number after helping her out on her work proposal for her boss. We started chatting afterwards, regular chats that sometimes felt boring even replying, all of a sudden took a swift diversion. We started sharing opinions on things I had no idea we would ever talk about. On few occasions, we saw eye to eye but most of the time we argued on various topics, which was actually fun cause we never personalized anything we said to each other during the conversation. After 2months, she called me to her desk one early morning to assist her on something, which I did. We then decided to take a tea break and during that she told me she loves me. And she knows she's 3years older than I am, yet we could still make it work. Judging from her clothes, phone, shoes, status; I told her I cannot cause she was on another level. Yet she insisted she would help me get there too. She bought me breakfast and lunch that day, which made me feel bad. She has done so much for me during this short period of knowing each other; she's always ready to help. She's too nice to be said no to, but dating her would be risky. I'll miss our friday night outings.

Conditions V

Maxi: It's been a while I put pen on paper just to write my plans for the day. I wonder what my new year resolutions were. All I do these days is concentrating more on solving my problems and executing my responsibilities, in order to have my peace of mind. And that strays me from concentrating on my morning devotions, and even during church service and work meetings. What I think about mostly are investment strategies to grow the little money I have. And my sweet wife, who debits my account at every least chance she gets. Last week, I woke up to her noise of me owing her. Simply because she took our kid to the hospital with uber, so she needs the money she used for transport back. Men, keep this in mind; "Every woman loves money. Whether she has enough or not, she just finds delight in spending yours. Sometimes, their reasons for taking your money makes no sense but you just have to comply, for your own safety. You always have to budget for miscellaneous, cause you would be paying for things you didn't budget for, impromptu. And that is the beauty of it."

Conditions IV

Antonia: I guess we both saw this was gon happen at a point, cause this was the path we chose, unintentionally, yet we did. You sacrificed your time and attention for me, but at that point I was into another, so your advances towards me never maneuvered it's way to project memories of you on my mind. I still did think of you every once in a while and wondered what you were up to. The time I was enlightened to the fact that you were into me; you were over me. Cause I was curious as to whether it was true, sacrificed my time and leisure for you but it was unfruitful, your heart was long gone. And now, here we are once again, blaming each other. That if the other had put in just a little more effort, we would have been together. But how late is it now?. If we cannot make it happen then let's drop this conversation. I guess all we're good at; is giving excuses. Excuses that profited nothing at the end. No more if I had and if you hadn't conversations.

Conditions III

Today we would love to hear some of the reasons why people are into their partners. I bet you are interested to know as well. Alright then, let's dive right into it.

Tuesday, 6 November 2018

Conditions II

Yaw:  We are tired of this "men are this", "women are that" noise you people are always making. Charley, we make wild dey hustle sake of our aspirations for a brighter future, you people dey here dey talk nonfa. Please if you have nothing to say to bring progress into our lives, kindly keep your thoughts and comments to yourself. Afia: Okay, so back to the topic, I think as humans, our love is based strictly on conditions. No one can love unconditionally except God. Sam: Please we are tired of this book knowledge. Afia: Let me make my point before you interrupt me please. Think about it carefully; we love because the person is pretty, handsome, tall, cute, stout, well-shaped, fair, dark, good character, superb courtesy, fantastic IQ, undoubtedly gifted, sharp, good kisser, relationship expert, good with words, smart, loyal, friendly, intelligent, eloquent, hardworking, good cook and many more. Ask yourself if you would love the person after an accident and they became crippled or take the story of Job for instance. Sam: Please we get your point but no one is interested to hear more of what you have to say. Anyone else with a less predictable comment?

Conditions

Kwesi: Personally, I don't like tagging certain acts to a specific gender. Being it men are unfaithful or women are greedy, I see it not to be fair. My reason being that, you may hear a story about how men cheat on their wives. Regardless of how the woman steps in his shoes to provide for the family and all he does is stay home after losing his job, sleep and eat whilst the woman works her ass off for the family. And he still gets the gut to cheat on the woman, with a lousy reason that he is always all alone and lonely at home; the cheek of it. It's understandable if you hear such a story and blast the man for his callous actions. Then you would hear stories of women cheat on their husbands as well. Mostly, simply because of money or bed experience. Why don't they invest in their marriage, support and tune the man to be whom they want him to be?. Akua: I agree with you somehow, cause men cheat, women cheat. Sometimes, you would hear a story and blast a man for what he did with all your intestines, only to hear a woman do worse than that. Then you would now hear the women trying to make meaning out of what the woman did. Suddenly, acting all rational and trying to feel the woman's pain for her actions. Yet, if we are comparing men and women, who is a cheat, liar, unfaithful, ungrateful. I would choose a man on any day, due to past experiences and witnesses. That is a fact.

My Daily Prayer

Everyone: Thank you father for my life, my immediate family, my friends, my school, my work, my extended family, my colleagues, my church, my pastor, my doctor, my soul mate. For everyone who has passed through my life and has been a blessing or a lesson to me. I thank you for the food I eat, breath I take, car I take in and out, house I stay in. For the decisions I make, instincts, conscience, IQ. For the gifts and talents you've given me. I thank you Lord for removing destructions from my life, giving me a sense of direction, belonging, taste, desire, hope, peace of mind, comfort. In you I trust and surrender my day in and out activities unto You. May my life forever be a blessing and inspiration to others. May I never lack any good thing and never lose focus in life. To You alone be all the praise and worship, Amen.

I doubt

Blake: All I require of you is a clear conscience of me. I hope that isn't too much to ask of you. I know I wasn't of a good  behavior but you can attest to the fact that I have been of a good behavior of late.

If I Bore

Sometimes when we're pissed, we have this perception that, even our father cannot control us, how much more anyone else?. Other times we say that, when we get bored; is that bad, so no one should push us to the wall. Others times we don't even listen to what anyone says when we get bored/pissed. How silly it sounds now that I'm writing it down. But when someone else is bored we suddenly forget how we behave when we are bored, and we expect the person to hear us out. To me, this is typically selfishness cause it's like everyone around us should understand us when we are bored, and at the same time all the people around us should listen to us when they are bored. It just doesn't work that way. It doesn't even sound right now you are reading it as well, right?.

I wonder

Chris: I wonder why we have this perception that telling someone how we truly feel wouldn't change our situation anyway, so we stick to keeping, "however we feel", to ourselves. Especially when asked the question, "how are you?". We seem to give the normal routine answer, which is, "I'm fine or I'm okay", when we know very well we are not. I know, definitely that it depends on the one asking the question. Yet regardless the person asking, being it our husband/wife, girlfriend/boyfriend, we still don't tell them how we are truly feeling. It maybe that we are used to keeping stuffs to ourselves or saying I'm fine is our programmed answer. That is fine, but sometimes someone's soothing words is all we need. We might think we don't need anyone's condolence or pity or view or "mouth in our case", but it might be all we need to keep us going.

It's a Hit Men III

Shanty: I'm a little confused as to how I'm going to leave my boyfriend. It isn't that I don't love him anymore, but I'm simply tired. I think he also wants to walk away from this relationship, but doesn't know how to, so I'm gonna help him out. He's been ignoring me of late, which is quite normal cause he wasn't really checking up on me anyway. Now, all he does is show me attitude for any little thing I do, making me feel bad unnecessarily yet flirting behind my back. I heard him tell another guy the one time, that he wouldn't put his heart at risk by putting all his eggs in one basket. Fortunately for me, I heard it for myself. Since then, I have been very observant, and I have realized he doesn't really care about me, and that he always puts his interest first. Now I also careless myself, I behave as if I don't have a boyfriend, I'm yet to make it official. I can choose to ignore him and never call him again, but I just want to have a clear conscience. So I'm planning of breaking up with him this weekend. My mind is made up.

It's a Hit Men II

Kuami: I just left my girlfriend and I'm very sad but I had to. I'm wondering why I would leave such a girl, who is every guy's dream girl. I'm very certain I wouldn't regret this decision I made. I realized I have been tolerating her for a couple of weeks now. She's really been on my nerves lately. She easily gets pissed of late, and every time this happens, she says, "Do you know how many men wish to be in your shoes?". Having heard that, even though I might be at fault, my heart starts to over-heat; missing numerous heartbeats. She started this attitude a year ago, when she begun sharing all the guys that hits on her with me. She gave them my number anytime they pressured her for her number. I was always swollen-headed until she stopped sharing. And begun being secretive about her whereabouts and her daily activities. And her excuse was that, she didn't like the way I reacted whenever she disclosed her engagements with other guys with me. She did tell me whenever I asked her about her routines though, yet leaves out many details. And if I don't ask, then she happily does her own thing. She didn't bother about my routines anymore, cause she didn't want me all up in her business either. She could be with a guy and I ask her, "what are you up to?", and her response would be, "nothing really?". And the more I ask questions, trying to get the details about her day, the more she chose to reply or change the subject. We've grown too far apart that we needed to go our separate ways and that is why we decided to break up eventually.

It's a Hit Men

Willy: I had this mischievous dream last night and I cannot really find my way out with this one. Lord knows I have had crazier dreams but this is just beyond my imagination. Its quite a simple dream though yet difficult to figure your way out of. I wish I could go back to sleep for a clarification. I do understand clearly what the dream meant. I have no doubt about that but my only problem is that I wish it wasn't so. I wish it were only my imagination playing tricks on me. I do have dreams a lot and I know which one to take seriously and which one to ignore and this isn't one to ignore. The dream depicted that my girlfriend is a witch.

A Conversatiion with Her Roommate II

Zita: Kwame, you are a really nice guy, the only problem I have with you now, is your dressing. I wonder what triggers you to wear what you wear. Too many jewelries; bracelet, necklace, ring. Honestly speaking, it's not cool, and please loosen up when you walk as well. No wonder, Akua wants to leave you. You're too serious in life but we don't see anything. At least, try and loosen up a little. The world is a bigger place, explore different clothes, don't stick to the same trend of oversized clothes. And I have realized you like eating the same kind of food every time. Truly speaking, you're a weird guy. Regardless of the fact that, you're smart, realist, lively and all, you lack in the obvious areas that a thug boy like you should be acquainted with. At first, I thought you were a Kumasi boy. In fact, I was really surprise to hear, you are a Tema boy. Even though, that made me like you the more. Me sticking around you, is obviously not all about the money. I wouldn't deny the fact that, I have grown to like you. Truth be told, the first time I saw you, I was disappointed in Akua. But getting to you, has made me understand her. Your swag, charisma, gentle arrogance, rough smile, annoying laughter, adorable dimple and super hilarious, makes me want to be around you the more. Your gestures alone is funny. Why am I being sweet all of a sudden?. Shaking my head!.

A conversation With Her Roommate

Zita: As for you Kwame, I even pity you sometimes when I see you stressing over Akua. Don't you have any other girl in mind?. I suggest you have a back-up plan, cause from the look of things, Akua will soon leave you. On the real, the kind of chats she's been having on the phone with "God knows who", and you are here still thinking you may have done something wrong to deserve this. You've done nothing wrong ma guy, your time is just up. The sooner you advise yourself, the better. I'm telling you this not because I care, but it's just annoying seeing you here trying to fix something that is now beyond your grasp. Your trousers alone disqualifies you. But anyways, we do enjoy your pizza, sharwama, french fries from time-to-time. In fact, God bless you for those charitable deeds, your labor shall never be in vain. I pray you find someone that will love you inside out. I can do you a favor though. I can help you forget about Akua, if only you always get me what I ask for, which would definitely be within your grasp. Looking at the way you buy pizza for Akua consistently, getting nothing in return. I hope the money is from the right source?. If it's loan money too, this is the right time to confess. Don't worry, I'm here for you okay. You look tensed, smile a little. I know we do not have the chemistry yet and all but I'm willing to do you this favor and I'm only using you. When I am through with you, you would have a feel of what happiness is about. I can tell your definition for happiness hasn't been updated for a while now, since you haven't had a feel of happiness for sometime now. Don't worry, I'm here for you. I will open your eyes to the 21st century definition of happiness. Just avail yourself. I know just what to do. You look confused, come for a hug!. Smile, we have a brighter future ahead of us. (Laughing uncontrollably)

Always

Benny: I always have something on my mind, I bet you do too. But we choose what we want to say, in order not to step on toes. Not that we scared of anyone, but we were brought up well, hence we are watchful of our words. But in some cases, we decide to speak whatever pops up in our head, cause however we choose to say it, may offend someone. Depending on the extent of relationship we have with the person we're carrying the message across to. Other times, we speak in parables just to get whatever pain buried in our hearts, across to the offender. And it's never the same afterwards, cause scenarios like these bring about awkward moments; not knowing the way forward. The look on your face says it all. I'm not making sense right?. That clearly depicts how different your world is from mine. In my world, the people I meet are totally different. I cannot tell the pattern of people you meet though. With mine, they make it clear what their intentions are. They are straight-forward people. And I'm used to people like that, so when I meet people who beat around the bush, I just lose it. I'm still not making sense right?. Okay, so my point here is quiet simple. It's not that what we say don't make sense, it's just that we are communicating to the wrong people, since they cannot relate.
