What's your opinion?

I wonder if this phrase still functions. Don't be in a haste to answer. Think it through and make your analysis first. One would say indeed love don't cost a thing but another would ask a question, so why do the rich men regardless their looks, get the beautiful ladies to fall for them. I know your argument would be is their money the ladies fall for but through that they eventually fall for the man as well unless the lady has a different agenda. My question is, can a lady fall in love with you authentically without buying her anything. Just your company, care and affection. Would that be enough to get a lady to fall for you these days. I'm sure they would say if you really love them then show your love and you would be thinking, "Ain't I doing that already?". Okay, I think it depends on the kind of lady too. For some your company, care, affection and attention is enough, not necessarily your gifts. But for others you have to go the extra mile.

Lay them Aside

Anyone who seem to hold us back or limit our pace, we should do well to cut them off. Another that is selfish and wishes to see us go down with them as they are dragged down as a result of their selfish desires, we should lay aside. Another who never speak anything good of us and is always seeing faults with whatever we do, we should forget. Another who thinks they know us so well and does not think any good can come out of us, we should block. Another that smiles at us when we meet them but behind that smile is hatred and disgust, we should dismiss from our minds. Imagine how free our minds would be.

Message to Her

I guess is annoying hearing me say I miss you all the time. Disturbing you with visits, goodnight hugs and kisses request. Your company is something I do really enjoy and I know you do as well that's why you've not been able to complain. Sometimes you do have the "please give me a break" look on your face but that doesn't really move me. What I love most is when I come over and I lie next to you on your bed while we watch a movie together. I just can't stop this feeling of wanting us to cuddle. I'm quite sure you've realized I would be touching you without a cause and you would tell me to stop when it gets intense. Also when I send you romantic messages every morning, afternoon and evening and you don't reply. Despite the fact that you enjoy these things as much as I do. Anyways, I have noticed your sudden lack of interest and attention towards me these days. I have decided to go on a strike. I'm giving you the break you deserve. Frankly speaking, I'm really touched by the message you sent me. It was precise and concise. And enriched with all the ingredients that virtually swept me off my feet. I'm so speechless right now, I don't know where to incisively start from. I do also like you very much, it's like we meant for each other. How we even met and carried on straight away is even mind-blowing.
Seriously speaking, it doesn't take me this short a time to really like and get to know someone that much. But with you everything seems entirely different and feels so right. Sometimes I get carried away in my thoughts trying to figure out how it all actually started. I know you have realized there are one or two things drawing me back. It was a good thing you made your intentions clear since I get confused sometimes if we faking or actually mean what we doing. I'm also aware you really want me to open up and that's what I'm basically doing right now. Cause I'm quite sure no girl is gonna give you this lengthy message as a reply to a simple but complicated question. I love being around you which I know you've noticed, it just feels good even though we don't necessarily talk about us and of course you make me do all the talking. I was the fun type but it's been a while I had real fun. Freddie's Proposal

I don't know how to start this but I would try not to beat around the bush. If you haven't realized where I'm headed to, all I'm doing now is making my intentions clear to you and would be expecting same from you as well. I know we just met but my father always says, " If she's the right one go ahead cause staying with someone for 3years doesn't still make you know them inside out. They would still do something that would baffle your mind at times. Follow your heart and your instincts if you know you have a good one". And that's all I'm doing now.
I know one thing for sure, which is the fact that you have everything in a girl I desire. The way you walk, talk, laugh, that your smile you give me when you like what I'm doing but pretend you don't and tell me to stop. How you tease me when I fumble whilst I'm trying to cheer you up after pissing you off. When we usually end up saying the same words as if we know what's on each others mind. Moments when you call me and have nothing to say but just wanna hear my voice. I mean you always have this way of shredding me with sweet talks. Making me feel hyper and swollen-headed all at once, that I love about you. How you mess with my hair when we chatting and even the way you play with your hair unconsciously when you thinking too hard. And all the pegs and over-time hugs you give me when it's time for you to go and it's like you wanna stay a bit longer. But you keep looking at your wrist watch from time-to-time. Times when you want us to cuddle but you don't wanna make it obvious even though you want me to notice. The only thing I don't like is you not being straight-forward with things we both would like to do. I want you to know you can tell me anything just as I feel free in doing. I don't want it to seem I'm the only one always thinking about something silly or funny. Don't take this the wrong way, I just want us to be very free with each other that even if you far off and I wink at you, you would know precisely what I mean. Claude's Story

Having regrets is something I don't really have a problem with. Agreeably, we all have our little regrets but that doesn't affect us since we are satisfied with how far we have come. Understandably, regrets are things you can do nothing about because it's past and gone. But we can make sure not to repeat them again, showing that we've learned our lesson. Depending on what your regret is about. Mine is about this girl I met in First year. Not that I took her for granted or anything but I should have held on to her. Knowing very well how committed, kind-hearted and trustworthy she was. Her name was Lexy. She was the full-package and I actually liked her and she liked me as well. In fact, we could text continuously for a week non-stop. We always had something new to talk about. And we unremittingly wanted to see each other even between two-lecture breaks. She was nice to be around, fun, I mean any sweet words you have in mind to describe.
 Until I messed it all up by asking if she knew Ruby reading the same course she was. She couldn't tell but she got to know her even though they weren't friends. She discovered something fishy between I and Ruby and she verified from me and I told her, Ruby was my special someone until she came into the picture. But she didn't want anything to do with me anymore claiming she didn't want trouble. Not that anything happened between I and Ruby too. She even found someone special and left me hanging. Lexy, on the other hand, had already kept her distance cause she frequently saw I and Ruby together and didn't want to be the cause of anything. She was that type of person. But she did make her feelings clear to me though. We lost that great connection, and until this very day I regret this and wish I could have done things the right way because we really had something in common. Anytime I meet her I remember the mistake I did. So hold on to anyone you like.

Question

This is actually a question that I need a reply to. My roommate had a very close friend by name Adele. They were very close but along the way she got herself a boyfriend. She then sent my roommate a message, I quote, "I have a boyfriend now and he's the jealous type so we can't be friends any longer. Of course, he was speechless and just didn't understand. He thought it was one of her jokes so he would send a hello message once in a while but the girl wouldn't reply. This carried on for a whole semester. He went ahead to send the girl a Christmas and Happy New Year message but she didn't reply either. Then in the cause of the new semester at hand, she sent him a message I quote, "This weekend is my birthday, come and look for me, be ready to take me out". What reply do you think the girl deserves?

Dear Reader and an impactful student of KNUST,  I greet you.
I'm not here to bore you with long speeches and ambiguous words because I'm not really a fan myself. But I'm here to basically solicit for your vote and give you tangible reasons why and it wouldn't be a waste of your time.
To start, I'm sure you quite aware the fact that I was part of a competition and you saw the effort I put into it that resulted in me being the first runner up. Leadership skills is something I believe is sharpened when one goes through stages of productive training. Seriously we need change, and it takes great effort to achieve that. Our recent administrative panel have really done their best and that mantle needs to be carried on. Team building is therefore a necessity, which goes hand-in-hand with the right leadership. Setting an example, Conflict management, Listening skills, Dealing with difficult people and having the compassion is something that is being handled currently and we need to follow that rightful path. One thing I can brag of about my team is having the knowledge, vision, confidence, setting fruitful priorities, devising strategies, setting goals and we know with God on our side anything can be achieved as well. So we have God's backing as well and we need that of yours also and I can assure you that KNUST would continue to achieve greatness. Let's not focus on gender but on togetherness, unity is strength. A Little Consideration

You know sometimes we say stuffs that we think doesn't affect us in any way
but at the long run we find ourselves in the shoes of those we spoke against.
Let me clarify my statement since you won't really get me if you haven't been
in such a situation.
I was on my way to the hostel and I heard this interesting argument between a third year student and a final year student. The third year student was giving various reasons why the final year students would misuse the wifi service being provided and that it should be delayed and those fixing it where listening to his argument and they were actually agreeing with him. The final year student on the other hand was very pissed at his analogy and was countering his point with the fact that it was final year student who of course needed the wifi service for their project works. Forgetting he will be in his final year the next semester. I'm sure he wiill forget he ever did same to someone after he is in the same shoes of final year student. The third year student obviously had a point but the positives clearly overshadowed the negatives. Let's try to be less annoying.
