Latoya's Story

I have a lot of male friends as compared to female. I just like mingling with opposite sex more than same sex. Cause I think girls are more emotional and take stuffs seriously and complain a lot. Boys are very easy-going and mostly say what's on their mind right on the spot. All my male friends have something unique about them.
One is into photography. another is into politics, another is into movies, sports, fashion, music, outings and so forth. I just don't feel comfortable around ladies cause when they get to know a lot about you, they begin using it against you. Especially when they like a boy whose just your friend but she thinks there's something fishy between you two. With boys, I'm very used to them and their pick-up lines and all that. They are so predictable even though some are very annoying and don't seem to take no for an answer. Others are just dumb and would spend all their money on you even if you make it clear you don't like them. They are okay with the hugs and once in a while pegs and of course the hand-holding and so forth. Boys are just interesting and they would always want to do something that would make you feel happy around them. But with girls, is all about hair-dos, make-ups, dresses. I like to talk about that sometimes as well but not always.

Crazy World

Miley: It's just interesting when you get to actually know what people believe in. I am very marvelled at those who believe there is no God. Then what would be the purpose of life?. As some people also believe we just came to earth, to live life, die and that is all. So why do they go to church and live a holy life if there is no heaven to go to?. Some also believe those who are to make it to heaven have already been selected and they are the 144,000 in the Book of Revelations. I wonder what Bible they read?. How can you by God's Grace end up being a Christian and still be lost?. Muslims believe in the name of Jesus nowadays and the name works for them in their time of need. Indicating that Salvation is for all and whosoever repents and accepts Christ Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior is a step closer to Heaven. I wonder where the teaching of once saved forever saved also originated from?. Then Judas Iscariot should be in heaven. It is only God who can tell who is a saint and who isn't and that would be revealed on Judgement Day. For we do not know what people do behind closed doors. Shalom!

Define Life

Don't interpret incidences in life in the context of a movie or a storybook. Both are just a fraction of life. So let's not depend our analysis on a movie or a storybook. Life is much more complicated than that. Life is all about realities but movies, storybooks, games etc are a combination of realities, illusions, fantasies, thaumaturgy, semblance of no authenticity and many more. I can't tell how you perceive life to be but it's real. We should start taking life seriously cause it isn't a game that we can die and start all over again. After death, it's all over and only judgement awaits us. Even if you believe in reincarnations. What if you die and reincarnate as a dog. Animals wouldn't be judged by God. Bare in mind, we cannot dodge death if it's our appointed time to die. Even Jesus at the appointed time died, how much more a mere human. The only reason why we ain't struck down by our sins is because grace abounds.

Thoughts II

Many look down on themselves. They have only negative thoughts about themselves. Either they feel nobody loves them or their life is a mess or they don't look good enough. So they treat themselves anyhow cause they just don't care anymore. They eat or drink anything, sleep anywhere, behave anyhow. I mean they just don't care.  Nothing you tell them will cheer them up cause they are being clouded by their thoughts. Believe me when I tell you, your thoughts is your power and no one can take that from you. The way you look at things is based on your thinking, thus for sure. Which I'm very much aware you also sure of. That is why it is required of everyone to think positive. Reason being that it prevents you from giving up or doing regrettable things. Positive thinking is only but a step to making a difference in your life. Why think negative when you can think positive. Everyone have problems, so you thinking the problem you currently going through is one of a kind only gives you reasons to blame people. It does you no good cause it builds up pain and grief inside you for years which leads you to do something horrific or dreadful. And it's end result brings about ruefulness. Google your problem if you think such things are only happening to you and read about similar or flagitious problems and how those people were still able to make it in life and find a way out of yours with God's help and counsel cause you cannot do it on your own. Don't be a burden to anyone.

Thoughts

We all do have thoughts running through our heads, day-in and day-out. And that's the only total privacy we have and enjoy as individuals depending on how interesting what we thinking about is. And the kind of ideas running through our heads. Imagine how insipid it would be if we could read thoughts of one another. Then people will just stop thinking and prey on others thoughts. Especially during examinations, job interviews, counseling sessions, court rooms, confession desk. Then what would be the need for therapy class or even asking a question. Nevertheless, we all get used to certain reactions from people that allows us predict their thoughts. Thus when their actions tally with our idea or past experience of someone's thought behind that similar action. Hence we are sure of the kind of thoughts we presume they have. The only difference between you and another person is your ability to be able to perceive what someone is thinking faster or slower than that person. Depending of your idea through reading of books or watching of movies. And it could be based on earlier experiences in your life. And that is the only reason why one can get away with flirtation, deception, dissembling, cloaking on one person but not on another. Some people just cannot fully trust anyone because of their past experiences. Whilst others refuse to think far when in the moment, hence their emotions are repeatedly toiled with.

Riddle Riddle

I'm a day that brings about a special feeling. It's usually so intense that you normally cannot sleep too much cause you have a lot of stuffs running through your mind. You start receiving phone calls and replying messages from 12am, if you have a lot of loved ones. If your have limited loved ones, you sleep and wake up in the morning to reply messages and view your missed calls. Lol, just kidding.
Anyways, let's continue. So you categories your replies into three different folds and you start forwarding them to the three categories of people in your life. Example, thanks you so much, thanks dear and thanks fam. You also choose to show emotions if touched by the messages or calls by attaching "Awww" to the response. Then you sit back and be reading group chats you never had the interest in reading, all because they've used your name and profile picture. You also start viewing people's profile pictures and statuses and be smiling alongside while you comment in your head. Sometimes you go like, "Eii so when did this boy save this picture of mine, cause I only used it as my dp for 30minutes last year Christmas". Or "Eeii this girl, so she still has the picture I took in 1st year" or "Look at this boy too, so with all my current stunning pictures, this is the very one he chooses to use as the group's display photo". It's a day full of smiles and cheerful thoughts, you just be looking at people faces smiling unknowingly, as if everyone around you knows what's up with you. It's like everyone is being nice to you. Even that girl/boy you heard from a year ago and the one you just met at church recently, also the one you met in a friend's room just few days ago. How did they all get to know?, you ask yourself.  And if you find yourself on campus, after lectures and on your way to your room you will be having thoughts like this: "My roommates shouldn't disturb me with this I will pour water on you or wet your bed", comments they've been raising since yesterday, the way I'm tired. And if you have no plans for the day and people ask you questions like, "so what's up with your day?  or how is your day so far?". You just say in your head, As if you will take me out too. What day am I?

Ever Been Aimless?

My laptop is messed up so don't really get the time to write stuffs no more. Just got hold of my roommate's laptop then I realized I have nothing in mind but I have to write something. So lemme create something right now. Testing my creativity level, lemme try turn this around into something meaningful since you losing interest reading already.
Have you ever wanted something so bad that after getting your hands on it you all of a sudden just lack ideas of what to do with it. I think an example would help, let's say you've always wanted to take your mom's range rover to town with a couple of your friends but you never get the opportunity to cause your mom has always been careful with the car keys. Then on Friday, she leaves the car keys with you that she's leaving for a business seminar so take good care of the car. Meaning you have Friday, Saturday and Sunday all to yourself. You start calling your friends one by one but it's like the ones you wanted to go roam with are busy with family weddings and graduations. You decide to just take a ride through Legon campus for no reason. You just move from hall to hall checking your call list to see if any interesting person's name pops up. Sarah's name pops up but you stare at the number and say oh naaah, Clara's name also appears, you call up but she's at lectures and will close at 8pm. After an hour or two you leave to Accra mall, then West hills mall, then to Labidi beach. Now you tired and you stop and ask yourself so what I'm I even doing?. That's properly what I'm doing right now. Smh!

Love in the Dark

Boy: Every word you confide in me, every wonderful and terrible moment you share with me, melts me inside. You let yourself be vulnerable with me and trust me beyond my comprehension. An Unusual Thing

Joel was in bed at dawn when he suddenly got a message from his aunty in London.  I quote "I have sent you money through Western Union, please go for it as soon as possible". It was 5am in the morning, he swiftly got out of bed and headed towards the direction of the bath house. He was done brushing and showering within 10minutes which was very unusual of him. I guess he forgot to compose one of his daily tracks, he usually does, under the shower this time around. His roommates were even wondering why he was up and ready for lectures before 6:30am and he was busily singing "ibi God who dey bless me oo". Laugh out loud, I mean the scene was just an interesting one to witness. He purposed in his heart to go to the bank first before lectures. He hurried off and he was the first to be attended to by the teller. Hello, good morning my first client for today. how may I help you?, the teller said as she chuckled. It was like she was up to something but this wasn't the time to be analytical, he said to himself.  He responded with a smile and dished out the numbers for the transaction to the teller as his aunty had directed him to. You are Joel right? The teller asked. Oh yeah, he responded. She handed out an envelope to him and said this is from your aunty. What a wow, he said to himself. Hastily, he took it and drop it safely in his bag and rushed off to class The teller just watched and chortled.  During the lecture period he got a message from his aunty, the teller said you have received the money. Yeah I did, thanks a lot aunty, you don't know how much I needed it, you are truly sent from heaven, he responded. I'm touched but have you opened it to check?, please do if you haven't, his aunty replied. He quickly opened up his bag, took out the envelope and opened it up cautiously. They were printed papers with April Fool inscription on them. Herrrrrr, he exclaimed. And everyone's attention was drawn to him and they all started laughing, the class ended just there and it became his nick-name from that day onwards. And that was how it all begun.
