Tempted

I went to town to buy some stuffs for school
and on my way back a woman just walked right
pass me. Her 50pesewas coin fell off and settled
right in front of me and all I did was to look at it, smile
and I by-passed it. I know what you are thinking now
and that's the same way when we mature as Christians
we are no more enticed to fall short to little temptations.

Wanna Know

A good way to know their how they feel about
what you two are talking about isn't quite easy to
notice through text messaging. Unless you know the person
inside out and you'll be able to deduce it when they are
faking an expression. Reason I'm saying this is because
I was sitting by a cute girl in a mini-van to the mall, and this
lady was text messaging on whats-app but anytime she laughs or smiles
and shakes her head as well she would text something else
indicating the guy is boring her. I got to realize this guy was a
new friend she just made and she was just text messaging stuffs like
 (What?, So?, Meaning?, Why is it funny?, Okay I hear, Whatever you say)
but her facial expression was happy and it clearly showed that very guy
was very interesting. So what I'm saying is the only way to be sure is to
call or  face-to-face.

Better to Shut-up

A simple advice a married man once gave me. he sat me
down and said, its better to shut-up sometimes if what you
thinking of saying would hurt someone you care about.
My wife told me one-day that she wanted me to list six things
I disliked about her and that it was a project in the women's
fellowship at church. Instantly a lot of stuffs came in mind but
I told her to hold on and I would text it to her on my way to work.
When I got to work I decided to text her saying she is just the way I
wanted her and I truly loved her just as she is. I came home that very evening
and she was at the door in tears, indicating she was thankful I decided to say
nothing. And also at church, some of the women walked up to me telling me they
wished their husbands were such considerate. I was shocked because I didn't know
it was that personal. So you see, it's better to keep quiet sometimes.

Don't Force Them

The very day school resumed, Tim my younger brother
made up his mind not to go to school because of all the
horrible and boring stuffs he imagined. My siblings and I
decided not to force him but to just strategically convince
him to. The next morning we all decided to do a little painting
after breakfast, we painted anything at all that came into mind
and decided to paste it on the walls of our rooms. He begged to join
but told him, he couldn't know how to paint if he didn't go to kindergarten.
The next morning we woke up and he was already dressed up ready for school.
So you see, not everything is forcefully done.

Not Just Curious

Boy: Eii whose that guy in your dp
Girl: A friend
Boy: Eii and he has been there for a week
Girl: Lol, I sense jealousy.
Boy: So when are putting me there too
Girl: Don't worry, very soon.
Boy: Just like they keep saying Jesus is coming soon.
Girl: Lol...ukr
