There are a lot of things we do not take notice of but are still a big part of us anyway. As my father always says, "The fact that you don't watch or read about what is really going on around you doesn't mean nothing goes on". Get to know what goes on around you and you will know how to deal with them the best way.

J’Dess: I understand perfectly well why the phrase “love is blind” has been misjudged. Imagine if love wasn’t blind—would it be genuine at all? Wouldn’t it be biased? Please don’t miss what I’m about to share with you. Actually, this topic has been on my mind for a couple of days now, with the sole aim of bringing you into the inner chambers of my thinking so that you wouldn’t misinterpret. Because I’ve realized that no matter how good a script is, the readers often misconceive the context of the script—and that changes the whole meaning of the script. Especially the Bible—it is mostly contradicted by many simply because we do not find out the context behind some of the things we read. Kindly do me this favor: any script at all you read, first find out the context of the script. With that, you would get the right meaning—the writer’s mind. That was just by the way. Follow me carefully now. Let me tell you why love is blind. Love has been in existence from eternity, and it was passed on from eternity into time when God created the world and man. Because God is love, and He created man in His likeness. Therefore, we are love. That is why everything we do is simply out of love. Remember, God breathing His Spirit into the human body He created signifies that we are spirits clothed in human flesh. Naturally, we are created to love by the Manufacturer—God. So, when two people fall in love, they are two souls falling in love, not physical bodies. That is why we have the term “soul mate.” And our heart interacts between the human body and soul. Hereby, the heart is hugely affected when one gets hurt along the way. That is why we also have the term “heartbreak.”In short, love is blind because it is a spiritual connection which goes beyond the physical. It stretches beyond flaws, appearance, and other physical elements of the other—although it takes a willing mind to fall in love. Love is not forced nor biased; it’s simply blind.

Month of Love
Alexis: Alright so this is my first post this year and I hope this script finds you well. I remember it was my sister's birthday last year, and she had to hurriedly step out and meet a dispatch for a gift. She came back hastily, opened it up and it was a white towel with her name embedded in it. She just left the gift there and went to sleep. A minute silence!. Sometimes it's not about how expensive the gift is, but how well it was thought of before purchasing. Take time to think of a gift before going in for it. Welcome to the month of love. Personal, I think this month goes beyond married, dating, courtship people. I think it's very much limited when we look at it from that scope. In a month such as this, we all have to show love one way or the other. I mean, we can try to at least be more sweet to people. During seasons such as these, we are easily subjected to putting ourselves first. It isn't bad to wonder about what we would get from someone or who would surprise us. But particularly, we can think about what we would do for someone or whom we would surprise. I think that makes us more appreciative of what we get also. Cause personally, I have realized when we are more fixated on what we would get, we easily get disappointed, especially, if we start comparing. All I am saying is, apart from the obvious person we would surprise this year. From the handful of friends we have, pick one person and surprise that person too. It could be anything at all. Put a smile on someone's face, and let's be more appreciative. I understand how it feels to get a gift we don't like. And we would be like, "Really?". Wonya huu hwee!.

Overview of 2019
Kojo: I woke up happy today, seeing how grateful people are for 2019. Personally, it has been one of the best years. And I strongly feel there are more to come in 2020. I had a whole lot of experiences, awareness, opportunities, fun, adventures, delights, achievements and many others. The road was rough, I wouldn't lie, yet perseverance and determination kept us going. Made resourceful memories; memories that hold water and makes you say, "Why isn't life always this way?". I had so much fun in trying new things I had not planned to and it was worth it. A lot of things to laugh about on social media, and the Year of Return climaxed it all. Met a lot of people along the way, who changed my perspective on certain things, and I thank God for their lives. Made a lot of mistakes and I am glad I did. I learnt a lot, especially that the people we greet on our way to work or school, that ask us, "how we are doing?", don't really listen to our replies. I once replied, "I'm not fine". And she replied, "We thank God". With all things being said, we give all praise to the One who gives us Breath of Life. It has never been by might or by power. With our resolutions set for the next decade, we pray that the Lord God Almighty orders our steps in the right direction. May our next decade be of no regrets, but full of positive achievements. Cheers to Growth.

I'm Sorry
Chance: In my previous write ups, I've stressed enough about love. How it has lost its value and depth, cause of our misuse and shallow understanding of it. Take a couple of minutes to think through, if all the loving we do is not based on conditions. But love goes beyond condition; limitless. The other misused phrase, "I'm sorry". Per my statistics I've come to a conclusion that we mostly say, "I'm sorry", particularly to end prolonging matters and not that we actually feel remorse for what we did. Should the same instance happen, we would hurt the person all over again and still end up saying, "I'm sorry". So then I ask, what's the need for saying I'm sorry, if we don't regret our actions?. If we wouldn't retract our actions if given the 2nd chance. Sometimes we don't know why we say we are sorry until we are asked, "sorry for what reason?". Then we reflect and realize, we are not actually sorry for hurting the other person, but rather sorry for not feeling sorry for the pain we putting them through. Sometimes we may step on someone's toes and say sorry. But should we reverse time, we would still step on their toes and say sorry again. With that in perspective, it tells you, we are not actually sorry for stepping on their toes, but we are sorry they had to be the one. And that has also killed the true intention of saying, I'm sorry. So now, if someone says I'm sorry, we cannot really tell the motive behind the reason why they are saying so. And that has devalued the phrase, "I'm sorry". I'm sorry only settles things but doesn't fix things.
