Some simple ways are as follows: (Doesn't always work)
Done towards someone you've said hello to a couple of times or someone you in talking terms with not someone you just met, greatly depends on your approach and confidence.
1.You can trick them into
asking for your number to find out some sort of information if you two
are chatting on-line. Thus if you excuse yourself at the moment you are
to deliver the information and that you may not return soon since your
on-line time is done and they may need the info urgently.
2.
Invite them to an interesting program and act as if you already have
their number by telling them you will send them the details later and
start walking away.
3. If you attend the same lecture or
extracurricular activity or same church, anything at all you two
participate in, you can use that to ask for their number in case of any
update or needs help in practicing.
4. You can also trick them
into calling you by wanting to hear your new caller tune or people have
been saying you have weird ring tones so you wanna verify. Since they
have your number and you also have their number now. Don't be in a hurry
to say hello after a day or two, hold on.
5. You can directly ask
for their numbers after you've been friends for quite a while and been
chatting often. It could be through a social media if you haven't met
the person yet or face-to-face if you know the person.
6. Lastly,
If you get their number through a friend, or through your own devious
means just have a good reason for calling or texting and explain why you needed the
number so they wouldn't ask a lot of questions. Eg. Hello, this is Ehud
your church member, got your number through our choir group, just want
to wish you a merry Christmas and to ask how you doing? and the timing should be right.
